World's Largest Cake

We Made History

guinness-1.jpg

History was made on September 22, 2010 with the creation of the World's Largest King Cake!

The official World's Largest King Cake broke TWO Guinness World Records on September 22, 2010 and raised over $47,000 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, New Orleans. The New Orleans Saints teamed up with family-owned Haydel's Bakery to create two giant king cakes that wound around the Superdome. The outer king cake broke the original record held by a bakery in Houston, and the inner king cake broke the outer king cake's record.

Special thanks to our sponsors, our families and friends, and to our honored guests, Supriya Jindal, First Lady of Louisiana, Mrs. Cheryl Landrieu, Rita Benson LeBlanc, and the Lombardi Trophy.
